NEW PRODUCT: FLEX LIW

Penko's latest Loss-in-Weight controller is part of the advanced FLEX range of instruments which is specifically configured as part of a loss-in-weight system combined with belt weighers.

The controller provides usable data in milliseconds. The clear user-friendly touch screen provides a good overview of the dosing process even from a distance. The output is controlled by a PID module and set points can be changed during the production run. Both fully automatic and manual solutions are available.

The large 145mm (5.7") touch screen is clearly visible from a distance and the main screen displays live data on the LIW gross value, the setpoint in kg/h, actual value in kg/h, the actual flow in g/s and kg/h, speed in %, and the setpoint input signal type (digital or analog). Other screens display setup information, a graphic screen for displaying basic information during a run, and an input-output monitor screen.

FLEX-CK also incorporates Penko's new G-Cal™ technology to make calibration simple. Load cell data and the location coordinates are all that is needed to calibrate the instrument. Internal look-up tables for load cell data plus will make all the corrections instantly and with the G-Cal™ system, accuracy improves ten-fold to 1/10,000.
