NEW PRODUCT: SGM455

Penko's new SGM455 is specifically designed for controlling and checking bulk materials. It is ideal for weighing measurements of tanks, silos, large vessels and heavy bulk containers of all types.

Essentially a combined loadcell digitizer, amplifier, conditioner and power supply, the DIN-rail mounted SGM455 can be considered as a fully-functioned indicator instrument, but without a display. It may also be used as a slave unit in a Profibus-DP network, and is equipped with RS485 full duplex.

This high-quality instrument offers significant benefits in set-up time. Its advanced installation tools enables the SGM455 to be programmed very quickly, saving a substantial amount of commissioning time that is usually required for an instrument of this calibre.

SGM455 incorporates Penko's new G-Cal™ technology to make calibration simple. Load cell data and the location coordinates are all that is needed to calibrate the instrument. Internal look-up tables for load cell data plus will make all the corrections instantly and with the G-Cal™ system, accuracy improves ten-fold to 1/10,000.
